“A Love to Keep” goes to Region 6
As ASM celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, the first ever provincial couples seminar was successfully held in Bacolod on 28 January where 24 officers and their spouses participated in. It was the third season of “A Love to Keep: Secrets to Intimacy and Keeping the Romance Alive”. The very meaningful homily delivered by Fr. Mitch Guadalupe affirmed what Mrs. Gavino, Senior Family Counselor of Ateneo Center for Family Ministries (CeFam) spoke about. We capped the night by treating our couples to a romantic candlelit dinner for 2 at the famed “The Ruins” while a trio of instrumentalists serenaded our couples with love songs. This is ASM’s take on marriage encounter.
Our commitment to help address the social cost of migration recognized in most Filipino seafarers’ families, remains.
Couples from Metro Manila and nearby provinces will enjoy the same benefits when we offer it for the second time this season at Tagaytay Highlands on 25 February 2012. We hope to bring it to Cebu as well before the year ends.
These events are the highlights of our 10th anniversary celebration as we remain steadfast in living out our mantra of building careers, preserving families, strengthening a nation.
