First Asia-Pacific Conference-Workshops on Psychological Testing

 Management shares the belief that a firm understanding of psychological testing as a tool in organizational development  is necessary to build, propel and sustain a globally competitive organization.  As such, we must set our direction towards efforts that will address this need.

 ASM, represented by its psychometrician Ms. Rodora Eduarte participated in the recently concluded First Asia-Pacific Conference Workshops on Psychological Testing in Manila.  According to Ms. Eduarte, it has equipped her with new ideas and validated the fact that the tests we are using are indeed applicable to industrial setting. It further validates, through the actual experiences of test users, test developers and test providers, the importance of test results and how it can help an individual, family or an organization. It has also shown her the wisdom of exercising vigilance and being responsible in the process of test administration and evaluation of the results gathered.  It also reminded her of the sensitivity and significance or even the consequences of the role we are playing in the life of those around us especially in the workplace.
